It is a well known fact that the best way to fool or deceive people is to pretend to be someone or something that the they would most likely trust. If an undercover agent was on a job and needed to cross enemy lines to gain a foothold on their turf, would he go in there with the enemy colors of his own country, or would it be wise to try to take upon himself a disguise, to resemble the very people he was out to deceive? Certainly, the best method is to assimilate one's appearance to that of the unsuspecting victim as to go undetected and gain their trust and cooperation.

If Satan, who is clearly God's enemy, were to devise a plan to ruin or overtake Christ's System of Worship, what would he do? Would he come onto the scene with obvious disagreements and opposition or would he covertly creep in unnoticed? Would he come in as some stranger or try to impersonate a familiar friend? Lets examine this further.

Picture a congregation of believers. Picture also the “pastor” of this congregation. Now also picture a shadowy figure who's intent was to cunningly overtake and infiltrate this congregation and its teachings. What would be the best means of doing this? Clearly it would be to impersonate the “pastor” and remove and replace him, thus giving the shadowy figure total control over the system and also the future generations to come. Over time further infiltration of this system would transpire and eventually it would entirely succumb to the new leader thus erasing any remaining glint of what was formerly the enemy's turf. Only an impostor system would remain. Think “The Great Apostasy”.

Now let's look at this as it really is: Picture Satan in the first couple centuries viewing his enemy's Army, the whole Church, the faithful believers throughout the whole world. If he were to effectively overtake this opposing force, his best tactic would definitely be to impersonate Jesus Christ, the leader of this Army. And this is what he has done. Do not be fooled. Read your Bible for yourself. Do not listen to the smooth talkers in the pulpits! The Great Falling Away has already happened! It has been complete for hundreds of years! What remains is a form of godliness with no power to save!

The Christ of modern Christianity is not the Christ presented in the Bible. If you doubt this, take a few days and read one of the Gospels, the Book of the Acts and some of the Epistles. You will notice that what is presently associated with the word “Christianity” is not the Pure Religion presented to us by Christ or His Apostles. What we have today calling itself “the Church” is nothing less than gimmick with a following of deceived souls which spans generations and cultures.

As established by Christ Himself, the Church in the first couple centuries was not, as we have today, this sugar coated, glittery package promising you all your hearts desire if all you do is believe and confess while you remained defiled in thought, word and deed. On the contrary, what we find of the faithful followers of Christ in the true Church of God's Christianity was righteous men and women who gave totally of themselves for the furtherance of God's Kingdom here on earth. These people suffered (because of their righteousness) abuse, persecution, exiles, torture and execution by the most cruel terms; and they gloried in this!

Where in the modern false church can you find it being taught that loss is gain and gain is loss? Where can you find it taught that Christ died to set you free from sin? Oh contraire! What we find instead is that “Christ died to set you free TO sin”!!! They might not come out and say this in these terms, but they have clearly turned grace into a license for immorality. If you doubt this, either you don't go to Church or you are totally blind, because the majority of these churches are nothing less than glorified night clubs that run during the day. Yes, there may be a few congregations that are not quite so blatant and still have a “form of godliness”, but they still deny the power of grace which can set us free from bondage to sin and selfishness. It is in their doctrine. I challenge you to show me differently.

Today in this thing called “Christianity”, Christ in His Office of Lord and Saviour is preached as Divine and Human; as man's way of Salvation, as crucified, risen and ascended to the Father's Right Hand... BUT His teachings (doctrine) have been fatally watered down and rendered ineffective... and in some cases even totally removed!

It's time to look at a couple passages of Scripture. Keep in mind my statement above that Christ is preached in His office, but He is denied by neglecting and/or perverting His teachings:

"For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ." Jude 1:4

“If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” (1 Timothy 6:3-5)

“Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.” (2 John 1:9-11)

Now, many of you are probably like “what is the doctrine of Christ or the doctrine according to godliness? – my pastor never mentioned that”...

Well, this is an important question, because if one does not have and keep this doctrine, as stated in the passage above, they “do not have God”. The following is a partial list of some of Christs teachings, as to try to keep this relatively short. There are many more teachings of Christ in the Bible similar to these, of which are either twisted, redefined, watered down or just plain ignored as unnecessary or unimportant in the modern Church. I know it sounds unbelievable that the very founder of Christianity would have His teachings replaced and ignored, but I promise you that if you examine this you will see that this is the truth. Read through the following few passages and determine for yourself if this is from the same Christ that your pastor is preaching:

The Doctrine of Christ

“...One is your Teacher, the Christ.” Matthew 23:10

“If you hold to my doctrine, you truly are my disciples. John 8:31

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." Matthew 16:25-27

"If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29-30

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45

"But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matt 7:26-27

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and [the world]." Matt 6:24

“First clean the inside…and then the outside will be clean” Matt 23:26

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Matt 5:3-10

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33

“Strive to enter through the narrow gate” Luke 13:24

“If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you also. If you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive you for your sins.” Matt 6:14-15

“anyone who doesn’t take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” Matt 10:38

“But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

“If you love me, you will obey my commands.” John 14:15

"Jesus said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:23-24

“If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love” John 15:10

“blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” Luke 11:28

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.” Matt 5:13

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. Matt 5:17

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you Matt 5:44
